Miss Kathy is the owner of Hallowed Grounds and says that her job can be summed up in 3 steps; order, pay, and put away! Kathy works the closing shift Tuesday through Friday and is the catalyst that gets things done and makes things happen at Hallowed Grounds. Kathy has an entrepreneurial spirit, which simply means she doesn't like to be told what to do! She always dreamed of owning her own business so Hallowed Grounds has been a dream come true for her!
Kathy likes her job so much she worked for nothing but coffee and biscotti in the beginning;)! Cold brewed coffee is Kathy's drink of choice during the summer months. The rest of the year she starts her days with coffee, switches to tea in the afternoon, and beer or wine after 5:00 - sounds like a plan!
In Kathy's previous life she worked in retail and retail banking where she was an AVP in consumer lending for 20 years prior to being a homeschool mom for 10 years. Kathy's future plans include leaving the Hallowed Grounds legacy to her daughter, Drusilla to carry on.
