Hallowed Grounds is pleased to have been selected as a finalist in this year’s Best of the Valley for Best Local Coffee Shop. Drew is also honored to have been chosen as the Person of the Year for 2018. We would like to salute our well deserving fellow nominees as well.
We are grateful to all of those who support us on an ongoing basis including our customers, vendors and our employees all of whom we consider a part of the Hallowed Grounds family. Without our loyal following of customers, we would not be able to do what we do. Special thanks goes to our faithful employees, who enable us to perform at the level of excellence that our customers have come to expect.
Just to give you a bit of perspective on how far Drew has come in his journey, 3 years ago he was a homeless heroin addict living in the streets of Hollywood. By the grace of God and with the support of family and friends, he has been clean now for almost 2 years. He is a positive productive member of society, getting his life back on track. He has successfully learned the art of coffee roasting and now is responsible for roasting all the delicious beans at Hallowed Grounds. We proudly applaud his success and pray for his ongoing sobriety and humbly ask you to do the same.
OF course, none of this would be possible if not for the blessings of the Lord above whose plan is always greater than ours and to whom we are eternally grateful. I pray for continued blessings on the Hallowed Grounds family, business, and the community in which we live and serve.
The awards dinner was an amazing evening for our family the memory of which we will cherish fondly. It was an incredible celebration for all the nominees who have made contributions to the Beaver County business community. It is both rewarding and challenging to be a part of such an amazing group. We look forward to growing together into the future as we all work together to continue making Beaver County a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
Thanks a latte to all who helped make us Best of the Valley again this year!
