Capucas coffee is grown in western Honduras in the shade of the cloud forest containing the country’s highest mountain.
The co-op represents 12 communities with an all woman General Assembly working together to promote sustainable development of the local economy through financial, technical, productive and marketing services for members and their families.
Reducing poverty and increasing standards of life for their community are their main objectives.
Their re-development programs have benefited over 5,000 people in the region. Members are dedicated to shade grown sustainable conventional, organic and Fair Trade Coffees.
